Question X51v Sluggish

Hi,

I was wondering if it's just me, or if it's normal, but when I either let the X51v turn itself off, or I press the power button to do the same, when I turn it back on it takes nearly 2 minutes before I can use anything and very slow for the first minute or so.

Also everytime that I turn it back on I get an error message telling me that it could not start something in the funk directory, I gessed that it'S Odessey, and that error appears whether I have the Wireless on or off

It is odyssey. The same EXACT thing happened to me. Go to odyssey, disable and exit it.

I had that same problem with A01. Disabling Odyssey client didn't help. I ended up doing a hard reset, and never touched Odyssey again.

i had this a while ago and i have a04 rom, my solution was to do a hard reset and then install one bit of software at a time, i found that mine was caused by Skype for the ppc which i see some people say runs fine but it dont run fine on my x51v. it used to take ages >2mins till it was fast enough to use it, now its like its on speed, i just nnever installed the skype back on. hope this helps, colin

Ok now that I know that it's Odessey that cause hte problem, I have another one. I need Odessey to connect to my network, both at home and at work

At hoem I have an wireless that use WPA-PSK and without Odessey, I can not connect, at work there is not WEP or WPA, but I still can not connect without the help of Odessey
