Need help ASAP!!!!

Ok just today I installed the demo version of iLauncher and was playing around with it, when all of the sudden I go to my SD Card and BAM, none of my files were there, which is really weird since they were there even afer I installed iLauncher, but when I went to my sd card the second time around nothing but ONE program was there!

I did a couple of soft resets and still nothing, I even went to the sd card and refreshed it and i also selected the "View all files" option and still NOTHING????

I uninstalled iLauncher, did another soft reset and still nothing came up?!?!, so I went to "Memory" under system setting and I checked the memory of my SD card and it says I have around 718MB used up and 249 free ( I have a 1gb sanddisk card)

I even took out my sd card and put it in my card reader and still nothing popped up, I also have another 512mb card I put it in my axim and all the files popped up on that thing, so where the hell did my 720mb worth of very valuable programs go????!!!! I really need some help on how to fix this? what did iLauncher do to my SD card, and I didnt even install it on my sd card, I installed it into main memory!

Which PDA or Pocket PC do you have and also when installing ilauncher were there any problems with the install? I have installed ilauncher on my CF card and it worked fine, however i experienced a similar problem installing IGuidance where the program crashed during the run of the nav demo and my CF card suddenly was unread by my x51v....a soft reset fixed that problem. My only other thought is perhaps you changed your device ID back to a previous one and accidently synced with an old folder.....anyway good luck!

I have the X50v, and the install went very smooth, no problems at all, the sd card IS recognized by my axim but when I click on it there are no files in there, which is really weird, sinc wehn I go into memory settings it says that 720 mb are used up???!!!?!?!?!?!?

well lets say I cant fix this problem, how am I supposed to delete all of these "hidden" files so I can get my 720mb back and start re-downloading stuff again, and I have a sandisk sd card, and from past experiene sandisk is reliable, so I am really confused as to what happened here and would love to hear any suggestions anybody has.

Ouch.....looks like you're heading for a reformat of your SD card. That's one way you'll get your space back. It actually sounds like your table of contents on the card itself is corrupted, which I think is why you can't see any of the files but they take up space. I've had this happen to me before and the only fix that has worked for me is a reformat.

Do you have a USB card reader? If so, does your PC see the files? I would certainly copy the files off before reformatting so that they could be copied back. You might try a PC disk utility to attempt recovery.

With XP open My Computer then right click on the SD card drive letter. Click on the Tools tab. Choose the first button and check both boxes.
