Wow. You people need to take a step back and take a chill pill.

Entity. Battery life is amazing. I got eight hours of use from mine, and still had about 10% battery. If you need more than eight hours, then there is a bigger problem lurking. PIE works fine for an Axim. I mean really what else did you expect from a PPC? The Palms browser is even worse, so I think its a plus.

Plankmonkey I agree, but there are better ways to say it. What are you really missing? Granted AD2P and the headset profile aren't there, but what else are you missing? Besides, soon enough AKU 2.0 will be released and these better be in there, or else then I will be even more upset than you.

Addition who needs that kind of stuff any way huh?

I'm missing connectivity with my Motorola i710! That's HUGE! :(

Fix that and I'm a happy camper. I can live with soft resets from whitescreens and even the missing cf card issue. The non-connectivity is pissing me off!

Then I guess I won't try to get my v710 to connect.

BTW I received a notice about a lawsuit against Verizon for their intentional crippling of bluetooth in the v710. Interesting.

Wow. Wallrat.

Welcome to Aximsite.

http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=104322

Believe me I know. I had the V710 working with my Axim, but not now thanks to A04. Anywho it's not the Axims fault nor is it the phones. I along with others have contemplated this problem since it first began. We believe it not to be the Axim and not to be the V710. Both devices work with all the other devices, just not each other. The Axim supports DUN, and it works well on many other phones. The V710 works well with all other devices I have ever tested it with. Its just the two together.

jbachandouris this is for crippling the OBEX functionality of the V710, and in no way shape or form should or does this effect the DUN capabilities of either device.

They lost the lawsuit because they led people to believe it had the "expected" bluetooth functionality. Not because they crippled it. To this day, none of the Verizon phones support much in the way of bluetooth - they just had to make it clear what they did (or did not) support.

This is exactly what I want to say... I can live with the soft resets once in a while, but cannot use my pda to dial # IS NOT ACCEPTABLE...

Dell, why did you say it has BT function in this X51V in the first place?

For those of you having trouble connecting phones the Axim, and you know your phone supports DUN, check this thread
