Please post your price and order date if you are willing to.

The price I paid for mine -
x51v - $252.35
Order date - 12/28/2005

Can you tell us the method for getting the $252 price?

What was your price. You might be the owner of the cheapest x51v :)

Beat this!

I payed around 430 USD ...
But that was 'special price' (in my country) which normally would have been 510 USD (does not include shipment charges).

(Joke is on us Europeans, BUT... we ARE no 1 in taxes and high prices)

I bought my X51V on eBay. It was brand new in the box, 1 year warranty, etc. Paid $299 and another $35 for shipping. I then bought OCN 5, SD, CF cards, and bought a half dozen software titles. So I probably have around $800 wrapped up in it and have had it approximately 6 weeks.

I ordered my first X51v the week they were released, when Dell Small Business offered the first deal on the X51v: $399.

I got a second unit for my wife the first time Dell offerred the stackable 30% coupon, making it $279. I found out about the deal from Techbargains just minutes after the deal was announced. I purchased it right away and then found out the next morining (after the deal had ended) about the Dell re-gifting game where I could have potentially saved another $45 . Oh well, the price I paid was only $12 more than I paid for my X5 over 3 years ago. :)

I just called Dell 2 days ago and got them to allow me to return my first unit for a full refund. I complained about how I had problems with the unit not turning on and losing the CF card. I had made numerous calls to Dell Tech. Service over the last several months and the return agent had record where techs had told me a ROM update would fix these problems. I told them I was sick of waiting for an update that may never come, and so they made a return exception and I'm sending it back today. I'll probably wait for the next sub-$300 deal and pick up another one. :approve:

$230, 2 weeks ago. even though i sold my used X50V for more, i'm regretting it. this new one has so many issues and i can't even play baseball addict. also, the memory management on WM5 is slowing everything down. i want my x50v back!

they had that 30% off deal with a $100 instant off. then applied the $50-off dell holiday offer using my DPA, $229 total.
