F2504x4, the poll is asking what price people paid for the X51v, not any other device.

Just finished buying one online. Paid 310.00
Now I can't wait to get some goodies for it. First thing is a car charger and usb cable.
Does anyone hook theirs up to a cell phone to get on the web out on the streets? :approve:

I bought six (yes 6) X51v's a couple of weeks ago for $234 a piece. I sold 4 of them on ebay for $350 each and kept two, thus getting the two I kept for almost free. I'll be selling my X50v (w/WM5) soon too, just as soon as Dell release a decent ROM for it.

I live in the US and just ordered my x51v today.
Save 20% on Dell Axim X-51 624MHz handhelds through the Small Business division.
Expires on 2006-01-05 12:30:00 - $99.80
$399 + tax = $422.16 TOTAL
Wow, is there any way I could have paid less for this? I thought I was getting a good deal with the 20% off. I'm so impatient. I found this forum after I made the purchase.

Same here - I felt it was a great deal.
I believe mine came out to $289.49 with shipping and tax.
The unit itself was $252ish I think, with $16 for the extra battery and the extra warranty was free.
$8 shipping and $16ish tax, brought it to $289.49... don't know if that adds up exactly, close enough.

Just picked up a second X51v with 2-year warranty and extra battery for $268.42. Wouldn't have gotten the deal if it wasn't for the help of fellow Aximsite members! :approve:
I've now paid a grand total of $547.86 for 2 X51v's, 2 extra 1100mAh batteries, and a 2-year warranty on one of the devices (the one I'm going to keep, of course). Gotta love it!

Paid $316 with 2 year coverage yesterday. Just under $400 total with taxes (man thats a killer) and the big extended battery ($51). In retrospect, I made a couple of mistakes which I wanted to post so others could avoid it.
1) I wish I bought the case from Dell. I thought I could find a comparable case cheaper elsewhere but, it turns out with the sale that was going on, I can't :(. Turns out to be even more expensive when I add the shipping that I have to pay on the case.
2) Buying the extended battery from Dell was a mistake. Now I have read here that I could get the battery elsewhere for much cheaper.
Otherwise, I was pretty impressed with the price. I was going to buy an O2 Atom but then I saw the sale on Dell's site by accident so got the x51v instead :). So, i guess, I saved over $500 (the Atom is expensive). Reading this thread, seems I could've even saved another $50 but I am not sure how that would work (seriously, how did you guys get it so cheap?). As it is, with a coupon and the sale I got more than a 50% discount.
