Price you paid for x51v

I am adding a poll just to find the average price for the x51v.

Note the prices mentioned are in US dollars and does not include taxes and shipping charges. It is purely for the price of x51v only, not including accessories, additional warranty, etc.

Please post your price and order date if you are willing to.

The price I paid for mine -
x51v - $252.35
Order date - 12/28/2005

I paid about 250ish for mine quite a few months ago. I was happy with my deal. It's hard to beat a Dell coupon deal when they come around.

Hi folks. I hear about all these great deals and it makes one unhappy. I live in Canada and these great deal coupons are not valid for our use so the price you see on Dell.ca is what you pay. Besides, these machines are getting so popular that they don't need to bargain you. What I would really like to see would be for Dell to check their database of customers and maybe offer a great deal on accessories or GPS or something to Canadian buyers. The hefty price, especially after our taxes would be nice. Bottom line though is that I knew the price and I knew the machine and I said yes..

Why don't you get it ordered by a friend/relative in USA (if you have one) and get it shipped back to you? Does this cause any warranty issues?

This would definetly save a ton of money. Enough for you to buy a second one (kidding)

Dell.ca Deal

For those in Canada, until later today (Dec 30), Dell.ca is selling the x51v for the same price as the regular x51, $449 Canadian ... which is about US$385

I actually discovered this site and forum after I decided to buy an x51v earlier today ...

I had previously considered the ipaq hx2750, but the x51v feature set and the deal (over $100 price difference) convinced me to go w/ the axim ...

... now off to do some more scouring of these forums

Cheers

I overpaid on mine, but I wanted it then and there was no coupons at the time. I used my mother's Dell account and for Christmas she ended up picking up half of the tab for me. ;)

So technically "I" only had to pay 200, but in reality it was a little more then that. Hehe.

Best deal ever was CAD$379 with free shipping.
Might want to check out the following website for deals on Dell.ca : http://www.redflagdeals.com
