Suspend mode ?

When inactive for maybe a minute or so, (using it off the cradle)
the screen goes dark but does not shut off, all I need to do is tap the screen and it lights back up. Question: Is there any way to increase this time or disable completely. I dont think this is suspend mode because I have it set to (5) minutes. Thanks in advance!

You can alter the brightness settings for whether it is using the battery or using external power. It can range from seconds to several minutes. You can also go to the power settings to adjust how long until the Axim will go idle without turning itself off. I usually have it dim in 30 seconds when on battery (off the cradle) but turn off after a few minutes. If the dimming gets annoying you can either make the period longer before dimming, or disable it all-together. Hope this helps.

Good answer, Giff. Hey, how long have you been lurking Aximsite?
btw, the brightness app. is located either in the switcher bar or:
Start menu,
Settings,
System tab.

Yeah, I sprawl the site as much as I can to learn things that I don't know and possibly help others out if I can. I love this site, it has not only saved me time with problems but also makes me feel better to know other people are having the same problems I am :).
