I can't install any software on my x51v

I just got my x51v today. I opened the box, installed active sync, and my pda seems to sync fine. The problem is I would like to install software on the axim and turn it in to fine tuned machine. Every time I try to install anything (such as the isilo reader or the dell x51v system update for wm5) the installation wizard gets stuck in the "verifying device" window. My device never gets verified, and needless to say nothing gets installed. I know this is a kind of pathetic problem to have, but I just can't install anything. Help would be greatly appreciated

Try to soft reset your device, and reconnect it.

The soft reset doesn't help. When installing the dell system update I get stuck in the "verifying device" window, but with the isilo application the window says "retreiving application data from mobile device." Either way I get stuck with a non-responsive add/remove programs window.

OK, I've tried installing over 20 different programs now, and they all get hung up. Why can't I install anything on my device?

Hard and soft resets do not help. My active sync works fine. What's going on here? Can anyone help me???

I fixed the problem; this seems to be another manifestation of the well documented bluetooth issues. I had blue tooth turned off because I wasn't using it and didn't particularly like the constant blinking blue light. As soon as I turned bluetooth on, everything installed and updated smoothly.
