Number of Partnerships

I managed to get my X50v synching with Evolution in my Linux distro (Mandriva).

However, I also synch with my Windows XP install, and my work PC.

If I understand correctly, my device limits me to two partnerships.

This seems an unreasonable restriction.

Is there anyway round it?

TIA

Martin

There's a registry hack that will allow it (a search of the site should bring it up but it's been a couple of years since I've seen it so it may be a chore to find) and there are also some programs to do it.

A freeware option is available at Pocket Multi Partnership Sync - v1.2 and Kelbran has a small program call Sync Manager that allows you to keep multiple partnerships (I've used their IP Manager which also includes this function as well as some additional network tools). I'm not sure any of these tools work with WM5 but should be fine if you are still using WM03SE on your X50.

I actually use a product called ManyPartners to sync to 1 desktop and 3 laptops. Only thing is you may have to connect, disconnect, and then reconnect ppc. No problem to use. http://www.mydocsunlimited.com/many_partners/many.htm
