Instant on with the x51v? What a joke. Even in standby mode, my axim takes about 30 seconds before I can use it without lag after resuming. This after I remove all Today plugins that slowed it down even more. There's no instant on with this thing, making it useless as a scheduling assistant.

My Axim x51v is quite fast, if i dont turn it off completly. But even then it on in "just" a minute, when i'm typing my password in fast :D

This is why we should sue Dell about this "pda" as it is not working as advertized. This is Dell's fault not wm5's fault as it is a flaw in hardware drivers.

How did you come to the conclusion its a flaw in hardware drivers? It takes 3 seconds for my axim to power up. And really IMO it is a WM5 problem
