ActiveSync 4.1 Backup

I just downloaded Active Sync 4.1 on my Axim X51v. In the Microsoft readme file, it states under their "Known Issues" segment that "ActiveSync 4.1 does not support Backup/Restore of mobile device data."

Does anyone know a way around this issue?

Yes. The ONLY way around this issue is to download a thrid party backup device and install it on your PPC. Then, you have to Backup all of your files to an SD/CF card, and if you don't have a card, you have to go to Resco file explorer, and enable the folder called Network and go to the backup program (the one that comes with the device, I mean) and make a backup to network folder than put it on your pc.

Thanks for the information. I upgraded from an IPAQ 3850, and backing up data to a CF card was never a problem.
Which third party backup program would you recommend?
