Still frozen after Hard Boot, Help!

I've had my x51v w/ WM5 for a few weeks now and haven't had too many problems. I recently did a soft reset and upon rebooting it just hung on the blue dell screen. After removing the battery and trying some other things that I looked up on the forums, I decided I'd have to part with my installed data and do a hard reset.

Much to my dismay, even after the hard reset, the device still hung in the blue dell boot screen. I've tried looking for a way around dealing with Dell for a replacement, but haven't had any luck. Would reloading the rom image off an SD card work here?

Has anyone gotten in this situation and found a solution? Unfortunately it seems like a common problem a bunch of people are having...

Thanks for any help and happy 2006!

What can you do? Call dell and get a replacement. It will be sent to you in a few days, and then you just have to send yours back.
