Going Back to ROM A01 (51V)?

Hello--

thinking of upgrading to rom a04, but before i did, i wanted to see if it were possible to go back to a01 should i experience any issues beyond my main issue right now --battery drain.

if so, do i need to do anything to save the a01 file via a bcakup or otherwise to re-install it if i need to?

thanks as always--

From what I know, going from A03 to A04, backups (using Data Backup program on PDA) will not restore so backup PIMs (Calendar, Contacts, Notes) with Activesync. Make sure you copy databases for other programs such as Handwallet, MS Money, Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, etc. Once you go to A04, you can't go back to A01 as far as I know, but I haven't heard of having more problems with A04, more than you have with A01.

You will not beable to go back
It does not give the option to save your rom
And the backup you make with the data backup will not restore once you upgrade. so be prepared to reinstall everything.
