Razr v3c and bluetooth

Just wondering how to set up both devices so I can get on the internet with my x50v and my phone. I would really like to be able to sync my email with the phone. That is the main reason that I bought both of them. Is this a lost cause?

If you have Cingular, you ahve to have the media package as well in order to use the phone to get the internet with the Axim.

its a V3C (C stands for CDMA) which runs on only Verizon service. the orginal V3 runs on GSM networks (T-Mobile, Cingular, Rogers, etc.).

i would also like to know this since i too have a V3 (not C), and i would like to transfer pictures and all my contacts through bluetooth.

since verizon cripples the bluetooth on all their phones, (such as my $500 sch-a970) don't expect to transfer pics wirelessly.

Connecting a verizon phone to Dell Axim X50v

I'm not sure about with the Razr, but I've connected my Motorola V710 to my Dell Axim X50v to get internet on my Axim using only my Verizon minutes (free nights/weekends). Works pretty well, but took me some trial and error. I will try to track down instructions when I get a little more time. Most important things are to use #777 as the dial-in number, put in dial string AT$QCMDR=3, set user name to your phone number@vzw3g.com, set password to vzw. Don't foget to pair the two before you begin.

Verizon isn't the only one to criple their phone. I have yet to find any new BT phones which aren't crippled ... it's a stab at trying to get people to use their ridiculously priced services banking on the notion people won't hack their way around the stoppers they programmed in.

I've been debating if I should take my phone back and tell them the Bluetooth doesn't work and demonstrate how I can move files between my Axim and laptop ... then watch them dance and tell me how it does work. I'm particularly miffed that they provided a USB cable but no drivers (and therefore the USB cable does absolutely nothing). I have an a920 (my wife has one of the blade a900's).
