For me, the quickest way is to just create a custom icon in WisbarAdvance, and then it's always there, right next to my close icon :)

I'm a newbie and was about to actually asked bout the screen rotate question =p
Anyway I miss the side jog dial of my Sony Clie which is very useful to me when I am reading on netfront, ebooks, isilo, etc etc... I feel more comfortable holding the axim in 1 hand protrait-wise instead of the landscape mode when I intend to do long reading....
Any idea how to do that? It doesn't work when i assign the <*scroll up*> and <*scroll down*> to the wireless (button6) and notes (button5)...
Hmm, that exact combo works on my X50v. Must be something to do with WM5.
I never use the voice recorder button, so that was sacrificed to screen rotate. How often do you record a voice memo?
One of themost useful tricks was assigning the rotate screen to the Home button.
I use the record voice memo frequently.
I record all the meetings that I am a party to.
Best notes ever.
I can spend my time in the meeting scribbling notes that'll make very little sense later or I can record it and spend my time participating and directing the conversation down a more Useful path. I highly recommend this approach. I record on the lowest mono setting as to not take up much memory. This is of course useless unless you actually go back and listen to the recording. This works well for my role as a system business analyst.
I mapped record to start, contacts to alt-tab, messaging to left soft, home to right soft (the softkeys are great, imo), and leaving wireless as wireless for the time being, though I might change it (I tend to leave wireless on all the time, although I sometimes to need to turn it on/off to get it to find a network after soft reset).
Reset my record button, since hardly ever used except by mistake!
The record button how toggles view from portrait to landscape or back to portrait! Great, no mistakes recording!
Yeah, same here. Search my oldest posts on this subject. Ended up with full RAM, a bunch of recordings of my Ax banging around in my pocket and muffled voices. If I were to start using the record feature again, probably would map that to the Home button.
