A01 to A05 successful!

Thanks for everyone's help! I updated successfully and synced my PIM. I will re-install programs tommorow. One thing I did notice already.....the wifi works again with out pocket host.

Nice. Isn't it good when everything works? Hopefully you also see a general speed increase (I remember I did after updating the rom almost a year ago.)

How did you update from A01 to A05? Sorry, I'm really new to this stuff---I could use a lot of help.

Make sure u plug in your USB cradle direct into the computer instead of a hub, that is the only problem I face when I do the update, it say there have some USB problem, but when I direct plug it into the usb port on the motherboard, it went thru

are u referring to WM5 A01 and going back to WM2003 with A05?

No, I'm still using WM2003. I just went from A01 to A05.

I went to the dell website, logged in and put in my service tag # and then looked for recommended downloads. Found A05 and followed the directions exactly. It was very easy. :approve:
