Hopefully I'll be joining your ranks later today... my new x51v is in the city at the courier depot but I'm not sure if they'll let me make a pickup being it's Saturday. If not I have to wait until Monday. Wish me luck!! :)

Hello All,
And another member joins the Aximsite. Received the x51v during christmas 05, still "playing around with it". Ordered a 2GB SD flash memory card and hope to transform from a 'getting familiar' stage to functional user.
So far upgraded the rom version to A06, installed/uninstalled software recommended by many in these forums, performed hard resets, tested BT and WLAN etc. Temporarily using a 512mb CF (on loan from my digital camera) as storage. Touch wood, my x51v has been performing flawlessly. Pleased axim user thanks to all the knowledgeable contributors here, would have been a slow learning curve otherwise.

Well, I wasn't lucky on Saturday, but today the courier delivered my X51v. It's been charging for just over 6 hours now. The power light went solid green from solid amber after just 1hr. Is there any reason for me to keep it charging for another 2 hrs? Dell recommends a full 8hrs for the first charge even though the manual indicates that a discharged 1100 mAh battery will charge fully in 5 hrs.

I'm just anxious to get started playing with the new arrival. :)
