I have another X51 (english), I domped the rom to the sd... but i can't upload it to the bricked axim. The dump.bin is 128mb. I tried to rename it, but no luck, it says not a valid rom found.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advanced.
This doesn't work. At first you have to create a .nb0 file from the dump.bin as described here. I use grab-it to dump the ROM of my X51v but it produces only garbage so the dump.bin is useless for me. I think the reason of this garbage depends on the DOC (Disk On Chip) in the Axim where the files are stored and Grab-it can't read such Chips as described in this Forum.

Marcus,
I've dumped the rom, and created the image files, but it seems to be some kind of problems with the names of the files. I know x51 uses WM5 so the file should start with WM50, the SD image update doesn't detect it. i've tried with DiAd and it does, but when i try to apply it, it says "Image SKU check fail".

The files names i've tryed are the following:

WM50_K_A12_9FC132BCENG_HC.nb0 (SD image update doesn't even detect it)
DiAd_K_A12_9FC132BCENG_HC.nb0 ( SD image update detect's it but when i want to appy it, it says "Image SKU check fail".)
WM50_K_A12_X51_WM5_ENG.nb0 (SD image update doesn't even detect it)
DiMa_K_A12_X51_WM5_ENG.nb0 (SD image update doesn't even detect it)
DiMa_K_A12_9FC132BCENG_HC.nb0 (SD image update doesn't even detect it)

Every file with it's corresponding crc file.

Any ideas?
Julián

Ok, The I think that the problem might be on how the files are created or how the crc file is created. I've extracted the portions of the dump.bin to create them... and no luck so far.

do you know if there is any site where the files for x51 (non v) can be downloaded?

Icon13 first it worked - second time dead [x50v]

Hi everybody!

I got some good English versions for another 5 days to download under: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...D6A5B228384C8B

The 1. save from 80% frozen screen worked bautifully (with WM50) - BUT...

...
I tried to put the 2003 Software on afterwards and after success of copying the bootloader to the axim, it is now dead: black screen, no reaction whatsoever.

As many have asked before:

Is this DEAD a final DEAD? May I give him to my dog now?

I would greatly appreciate any answers - even when they would upset me :nw:

Thanks, Jens

hmmm..my problem is that i cannot see anything on my axim - as mentioned before - 80% boot and then hangs... i cannot do the update (you mentioned) because it requires ACTIVE SYNC to work...and that is for the moment not possible
