I just tried to order a Dell X51V which has:
25% DEAL OF THE WEEK
20% Stackable coupon
20$ off a 200$ purchase
and a DPA coupon.

I first asked for the DPA coupon they gave me 60$ off a 400$ purchase.
then I gave them the 20$ code discount.

:approve: everythings fine up till this point.

I then gave them the 20% discount code thats when things went crazy. They wouldn't give it to me. I went online was able to add all the coupons online ended up with a X51v under $400. But the lady on the phone refused to believe me. then she put me on hold for the past 20 min and I'm still holding right now.
what can I do to get their attention?

I can't add the DPA coupon by myself they usual have a list of coupons that they can add. By using your DPA they usually give you one. But she just put me on hold and im guessing hoping that I hang up.

That sucks.

I had reverse luck with my order. I placed my order with the 20% stackable online today, then forgot I had a $45 of $400 purchase coupon. I called Dell back, and within 5 minutes, the old order was cancelled and the new one was done.

Dell is pretty screwed up. I'm sure I updated my account details correctly but my order confirm now shows an old address as my billing address. I don't have that address anywhere in my account profile anymore where did they dig that address up from?

I hope this doesn't affect my order. Not only is Dell's support, customer service, and product reliability going downhill, so is their website.

Sorry thing is, they still manage to get us into a buying frenzy with their coupon codes/etc.

I have 2 gift certificates, so I couldn't order on line.
Same story, they said I couldn't use the 20% coupon.
To top if off today, my friend gave me 20.00 off 200 or more and
I lost it....

I hope the coupon for 20%off doesn't get used up before
I can convert my 2 gift cards to 1.

Alright guys, here's an update I ended up buying the item online.

I used the 20% oFF and the $20 off $200.

I got a two year accidental damage with my purchase, and the total price came down too just under $400 about $398.XX and some change. :approve:
It still came out better than I thought.

So here's to another PDA :cheers:

Hi guys,

Dell were having trouble is Oz as well. I ended up ringing the toll free number, spoke to someone who was probably in India and they told me they would ring me back in two hours.

Three and hlaf hours later - during a long lunch, they finally got back to me and now it is on its way! (8-9 working days though :( )

can't wait (I am a PDA virgin)
