As far as I know that was fixed a few releases back. I'll have a check.

Yup current status is given as:

Device Minimo working Notes
Axim x50v Maybe Works w/ WM5.0 upgrade and version .010
http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/dougt...es/008927.html
Axim x51v Yes Tested w/ .010

Worth a try then! I certainly will give it a go when my x51v arrives!

get it here.

Thanks, I didn't know that

Note that this version of Opera is a functionally-limited release and originally locked for Sharp W-Zero3, Japan-specific WM5 device.
How "functionally limited" is it, and does it support VGA?

Okay - quick question. I downloaded what i thought was hte newest version of GSPlayer, and it looks okay, but the icons and some text looks bad - like its blowing up a small image. So to me it seems its not really a VGA enhanced version. I thought I downloaded the newest version - but apparenlty not the VGA version, where can I download the VGA version?

The VGA version is done by jon: http://www.cs.pitt.edu/~jmisurda/ppc/
He hasn't updated it to the most recent gsplayer because he's waiting for the updates to slow down.

Yes, it supports VGA.

I can't tell how "limited" it is, because it seems to me fully operational except for some minor bugs and even more functional than IE. The current release is nothing but a kind of beta, preview, or something.

The offcial version for W-Zero3 is planning to be released on Jan 15. I don't know if it is protected for specific device or not. Even if so, official and public (that is, unprotected) version also will be available sooner or later, I believe.

Opera uses absolutely no pixel doubling, making it look exactly like you were running OZ/SE-VGA...without having to run it. I was waiting for a web browser like this for a *long* time.

It's also extremely fast, I strongly recommend it, especially if you have a WM2005 device.

Actually, I think it gets even better when running in True VGA mode, though it could very well all be in my head. :D

I hear that it runs even better on v51 but, yes, with Opera you don't need true VGA
