OzVGA + Password Problem

I just got OzVGA today, and installed it as the directions stated (or at least how I understood them to be), and proformed the soft reset to make OzVGA work, but I have put a password on my device(x51v), and with the VGA res the soft keyboard dosent appear. I know the keyboard is there where it is supposed to be because I can still type in letters, but I cannot see what letters I am typing in because the image of the keys dosent appear. Is there anyway to make the keyboard appear? Or is there a way to reset teh password without logging on to the device? I still have access to the x51v's memory through active sync so i can still remove or add files.

I have tried to use an emulator to emulate the PPC on my laptop, but it didnt work at all.

Also after doing the soft reset for OzVGA I experience the "white screen" problem. Is there any way to fix this, or will it go away if I uninstall OzVGA?

Edit: After taking a look back at what I had done, I think i may have messed up on changing the registry location for the dlls. Is there any whay to access the registry from the program Total Commander, or any other program?

I think there is a remote registry editor included with Embedded C++ (A free download from Microsoft.) This should allow you to change your device registry from your PC through ActiveSync.

Change the registry keys:
HKLM\Drivers\Display\GPE,LogicalPixelsX from 96 to 192 and
HKLM\Drivers\Display\GPE,LogicalPixelsY from 96 to 192

After a soft reset this should flick your device back into QVGA mode and you can enter in your password.

If you want to use the password software in VGA mode, ask the software provider for a True VGA version of the software.

Hope this helps you out.
