Seems the topic of the thread changed.

I also am having trouble installing Adobe Reader after the update. Tried on the SD card and main memory. No go. Any ideas??

Zeus, did you try removing adobe under activesync when the pda is connected then try to reinstall?

Yes, I also deleted the folder in "program files" and also deleted it on my desktop. I tried just about everything I can think of. I did however get the version 1.0 to install with mo problems. I also tried to install version 2 over 1 but it will not let me.

When you open activesync under tools you can add/remove programs. That might remove the registry settings. If you deleted the files you might have to try to reinstall just to remove the program under activesync.

I have tried it that way also and it did not work.

Do you have a registry hack program like Resco? If you do you can explore it and under software you can remove the registry setting on your pda and then try reinstalling again. Hope that helps because I am out of ideas.....

Thanks for your help, what a difference when viewing PDF's.The only problem I see is that I am unable to drag the top of the file down to show pages/bookmarks.Is there a way to get that back so I can navigate thru my manual?

Instead of trying to drag the line, just tap it and it opened up on mine. Then I am able to drag it. :yelrotflm

run the install, and remove the program from your desktop. It took me a while and seemed kind of hung, but eventually finished. Then install again.
I had to do the A06 upgrade twice. For the 2nd time, I used Activesync to remove all the installed program from the PDA ony before the flash. Upgrade to A06, then in Activesync, click the check marks and install Abdobe and other programs.

That's weird it doesn't work,the only thing that comes up is a menu with full screen options etc.

I also tries opening "show bookmarks" on the file page, but doesn't switch over...strange.

I hope you can get it to work, with this vga screen the pages going across the top of the page are not readable but you can see almost what is on them.

I installed A06 without an itch but I can no longer install Adobe Reader (I tried ver1 and ver2), all I get is a message telling me that the installation was unsuccessfull

The first thing I did after my A06 upgrade was to try to install Adobe Reader because it wouldn't install under A04... I got the same thing you did! Hard reset, deleting Adobe and even removing the file folder off my CF card, installing to the device, installing to the SD. I think I tried everything and still, "installation unsuccessful"!

yes, this is what everyone needs to do who is having issues after the a06 pdate. remove the app under activesync. also, make sure it is removed from your device. then rerun the installation file.

worked for me.
