A06 and Adobe Reader

I installed A06 without an itch but I can no longer install Adobe Reader (I tried ver1 and ver2), all I get is a message telling me that the installation was unsuccessfull

Sorry but glad to know I was'nt the only one. Was TOTALLY unable to install Adobe Reader after the A06 upgrade. Must have tried 10 times. Finally I started over, hard resetting the X51V, totally removing Reader for PPC from my desktop. setting up a new partnership and reinstalling Reader to a totally clean X51V. And that worked. What a pain

installed reader no problem ,seems slower to load books though

Very disappointed with pDf files for the X51V.My work manuals are 600 pages each and my system totally bogs down (program memory down to 0).
The display is blurry.Went back to reader 1.0 and it's a little better and clearvue won't even open files that big.

Does anyone have any suggestions on clearing up blurry pdf files?

If you have Tweaks2K2..:brute force Vga for the pdf.program....you will be amazed w/the quality. I too have lots of .pdf for work. Unfortunately I.use a few Today plugins which hangs my x50V

where do you get the Adobe download? I can't find one for WM5.

Dido for me also. Adobe 2 works fine for me with A06

I didn't have a problem installing Adobe reader, after the A06 update.

Does that patch work for x51v and how would I go about executing such a move?

:approve: When you open Tweaks and open brute force, browse to the adobe folder and select the exe file that opens adobe. When you open adobe the start page will look funky, but the results are awesome.

Patch works fine, you just need to get the high-res .409.mui file with the correct name copied into the same folder as the exe and with the same name as the exe.
