Are there issues with BT networking on a X51V w/A06

Hello Everybody,

I just got an X51V yesterday and upgraded it from A01 to A06 right away. After installing some software I tried to setup the internet using bluetooth networking through my Linux server (Fedora Core 4). I can see the server in the list but it doesn't list any services available (networking is the only service I setup). I see alot of issues with bluetooth headsets and the X51V, but is netwroking also screwed up?

I have an original X5 basic with a BT CF card which does networking fine so i think the issue is on the Axim side.

Any help?

You are correct. Bluetooth networking doesn't work with the X51's current crippled bluetooth stack. You might also notice that there is no bluetooth manager. We are all hoping that Dell decides to bring back the more robust Broadcom stack rather than stick to this microsoft one.

Thanks for replying. I suspected that was the problem, but I didn't want to just throw in the towel.

I'll keep an eye open for more ROM updates. I have a feeling that A06 isn't going to be the last.
