Active Sync Ver 4.0 & GroupWise Ver 6.5

Just got my replacement 51v. Plan to load it this afternoon. Does anyone know if Active Sync Ver. 4.0 can communicate directly with GroupWise Ver. 6.5 with out using an application like Intellisync?

I'd be interested in this too.
I think there is a beta novell groupwise plugin for syncing but I'll have ot look further into it.

Tried Activesync (4.0 & 4.1) Outlook (2002,2003), GroupWise PDA connect and diferent flavours of the GroupWise client and even different language versions of WinXP. Kept the error code 85010014.
I have a dutch X51 system with WM5.
Contacted Dell and thy tried to make me install an English (!) ROM update. For some reason it didn't work :), unfortunataly that's also the status of my sync at the moment... nothing.
I can browse the PDA so there is connection between the both. Dell assured me there would be a dutch update last week... so far no update.
Wish my boss had given me a iPaq or an other nce pda device. And why doesn't Novell update their PDA Connect application? In that case I wouldn't need Outlook. Sinxe I read everywhere that the error mentioned above is related to Outlook, that problem would be solved..

Just loaded Intellisync Handheld Edition 5.5. Works great with GroupWise 6.5.4. Had no problesm settign it up. Synced severeal times, tested various fields, am totally satisfied. I was lost wihtout haveing acces sto my schedule.
