new x51v has ROM A00 ??

Hi, got my new X51v 2 days ago, read a lot here and always saw ROM versions like A05 A06 and so on. OK, have the german version, but I think A00 is a bit older???? Have checked the german Dell site, they are offering nothing which can be considered as a firmware update and I think the endlish version could create some problems. Does anyone know how to get a newer version in german?

Btw, when I push my Start button, WM5 always shows the last 11 used programs, any idea how to kill this?

Thanks

Actually, it should show the last 4 programs used.
The other up to 7 are programs you choose to have there.

I just got my new X51v today and it's now charging. I haven't checked my rom version yet, but I did check if there was a rom update available on the Dutch Dell website and unfortunatly I choose to get a Dutch x51v and for the Dutch version there is no rom update either, so if it's also an older rom, I guess I'm stuck with it.

I feel kind of stupid because I could have chosen English too since I'm pretty good in English and probably would not have found it a problem to work with it.

Ah well we'll see. I haven't even used it yet, put it on charge right away.

From what I understand you can flash your Dutch device to English if want to do a little hacking.

My Japanese x51v also has an A00 ROM, and as I mentioned in an earlier post, they have informed me that they have no plans to release a ROM update

Yeah but wouldn't that cause the warranty to stop?

I'm not going to risk it, if it works without much problems on the older rom I guess I'll just have to stick with it.
