Question Ink from Pocket Informant not in Outlook?

I just decided to go with the Pocket PC platform due to its ink and voice recording features. Of course, right after placing my order for accessories locking me into that decision, I find that my ink notes from Pocket Informant are not getting carried over to MS Outook 2003 as ink in the notes area. There is nothing there on the desktop -- just a blank note. To make matters worse, if I change the appointment title (not even the note), then the ink note is lost when it syncs back to the handheld.

I still justify the Pocket PC because it will be, for me, a more fun version of an Ipod at the least. I really am hoping to use it for my calendar, contacts, and tasks too, but only if I can use freehand ink notes. Otherwise I'll stay with my Palm TX for those things (but I'd really like to sell that and just have one device...).

So if anyone can shed some light on why the ink notes don't show up I'd much appreciate it!!!

Or if someone can say whether the notes should show up that would help -- I don't know if this is normal or a problem. The question is: Running an X51v A06, when you enter an ink note for an appointment using Pocket Informant, does it / should it show up as an ink note in the desktop version of Outlook?

I think it should -- any help appreciated, this is the main feature I hoped to get by switching from Palm...

Because if this _should_ be working, then I will uninstall Outlook and reinstall it, etc... blah, I really don't want to do that unless I know it might fix a problem...

I hate to send you there, but the answers may be a bit more forthcoming, since you run a good chance of more of the PI users reading that forum specifically...

Thank you. I thought the ink would be part of Outlook's standard data structure because prior to WM 5 ink could be attached to appointments. Sometimes I just hate computers!
