Extremely happy with my x51v (now!)

Just wanted to let everyone know that with Opera 8.5 and the Active Sync tweek my Axim has been amazing. I originally got the Axim with A01, with lots of bugs, upgraded to A04, alot better but still not perfect. Then with the A06 update, and the active sync tweek, its been perfect, my CF card never disapears, i never need to soft reset, its perfect. And surfing the web with Opera 8.5 make surfing the web on the axim as good as on a desktop.

I agree. A06 + ActiveSync tweak actually works pretty well. I've been running A06 for two weeks now, and the soft-resets + Missing Flash Memories have also gone away.

The only concern right now is WMP10 sucking up an inordinate amount of RAM - which I plan to resolve by installing an alternate media player. IT's going to take up ROM space, but RAM is at a premium for me.

Only when Dell decides to bring back the missing bluetooth profiles or change the current stack with Broadcom's will I be extremely happy with the X51V.

I went from a01 - a04 to a06. and today noticed my CF missing again.:o(

I have A06 with the Active Sync hack and for 2 weeks it has been running rock solid. I have not seen the missing CF since!
