X50v to X51v program move

I have recently upgraded to the X51v from the X50v, and would like to move a few programs over to the new unit. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? I tried the active sync., to no avail. I also tried dropping the program files on the X51v, and this didn't work either. The program files are on the new unit, but they won't run. The program icons are also not present...

I don't think its that easy. However, you can to "Tools" menu and "Add/Remove Programs" and check the boxes next to the programs you want to install.
