Incorrect 'Start' menu icons from SD...

How can I correct the start menu icons I have assigned from SD? (I never had removed the SD from my X50v). The programs runs correctly.

That doesn't bring back the CF installed program icons for me.

The only way I can get them back is to open Settings > Menus
Menus takes about 5 seconds to open (the first time opening it) - I don't have to change anything, but going into Menus will bring back the icons. And after that, Settings > Menus will open up quickly.

I suppose I'll try deleting the programs off my CF card and reinstall them one at a time. I only have Skype, ICQ, Total Commander, TCPMP, GPS Dash, and TomTom maps installed on the CF card.

If I go to 'Settings/Menu' and unmark-mark an element (and I press 'ok')... the Start icons are corrected again!
... but when I reset my X50v the icons are not available again!
Where is the problem?

So it's a bug???
1. Install any program to your SD
2. Go to 'Settings/Menus' and select the installed program icon/item.
3. Reset your Axim
4. Unfold the Start button... and the icon is not assigned

I was just going to post to say that apparently this is just one of those things that everyone has to live with, and was glad to see you started another thread. Maybe someone will respond (or respond again). :rolling:

My CF card behaves in exactly the same manner as yours - I know we can't be alone.

...but never solved it. So now I have in Start Menu only apps which are installed in device rather than card. The other apps I open via third party shortcuts.
