Transcriber, Best text imput device (software)

I have found that even though the full screen keyboard is handy, it holds nothing on me with the transcriber. By teaching yourself how to write so it can recognise the text, you can spin circles around key plucking.

Is there one transcriber better than the other?

The new w5 one is pretty cool, and a huge improvement over 2003 I think, it hardly misses a word, and that litte tool bar rocks.

Any other Transcriber fans out there.

Well you can try the beefed up version by Phatware called Calligrapher, a lot more options and features. Personally i used calligrapher for the longest time, but just recently have started using the included "letter recognizer" I find its better for entering info when I'm not looking at the screen or entering text very fast. I wish there was a way to teach calligrapher/transcriber how you perfer to write instead of the way they've laid out, I find at times if i write too fast my letters begin to change slightly and calligrapher will start to make more mistakes.
