wifi configuration problem

Axim X51v was working properly, then something happend. Now I can't get it to work. Here are the details:

Wireless networking card selected as work, I have a home network with 5 pcs and cable access through wireless router.

Power Save Mode Disabled

Wlan On

In Wland advanced tab show an IP address shows up as 192.168.0.6 and a gateway of 192.168.0.1.

The Router shows the axim as attached and shows the same ip address, so it is connected

Go to tools and put in the axim ip and ping it, shows Request time out. Put in router ip and ping also timeout.

Start IE and enter a web site. Immediate Page can not be found little blue window appears.

Try selecting the wireless networking card as "Internet" instead of work.

I tried that and it did not help.

Good news is it started working again. Here is what I think happended. All was well and I was experimenting with shared drives on the network and maping with Resco. The Axim locked up and I had to soft reboot with the network on. On restart the on off button said it was off but the green lite was blinking. cycled net on and off and everything seemed to sync. Continued playing with shared drives and later found that the internet would not work. bla bla bla

A few minutes ago I was kepolk'n buttons and it lock up again this time also with networking on. Softrestart (about my 20th one today) this time the net on and off button said off but the green and blue led was flashing. cycled the net on and off and turned off blue tooth. Turned the net on and I got mail, then I tried the internet and all is well again. So now everything is working. But I still can not ping its ip or the router???!? I can with my laptop?? Somebody else might try to ping themselves and their router and let me know if it works.

Now if I only knew how to lock it up so I can fix it the next time!
