Check Tweaks2K2 software. It does have as much as 99 editing features.

Famous last words.

Registry editing (much like on your desktop) is not something you just want to go screwing around in (no offense intended). If you've never edited a registry, then seriously I would avoid it. Tweaks2k2 is cheap, and it handles a lot of the things the average user is looking to have done via the registry, and it is a lot safer. I've been mucking around in the registry on my systems for a couple years, and I bought the program.

Anyway, If you still want to play... http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=31

There's a free registry editor. Use the search link here on Aximsite and you'll find a ton of tweaks you can try.

Be aware ... you can screw up your registry pretty easily and it could require a hard reset to fix the errors.

Good luck :approve:

A hard reset will un-do any changes you made to the registry. Sometimes thats required if you make changes that prevent the Axim from booting properly.

Are you restoring a backup after you hard reset? Those keys may be in the backup file and will of course be restored.

I agree with the others who say that editing the Registry is NOT something you should do unless you really know what you are doing. However, if you backup first (preferably using Sprite) a Restore will restore the registry to the condition it was in before you edited it. If the PDA will not boot, then a hard reset will be necessary before doing the restore, but that should get you back to where you started from.

But I MUCH prefer using Tweaks2k2.

I guess I'm confused by the number of posts stat, and the "Contributor" label. What do these really mean?
