Original x51v software.....?

Hi,

I got my x51v last week but did not get any software with it. I called Dell yesterday and today I received a package from them with a CD in it....... VERY fast I must say.

However..... The CD I got is the 3D game pack for X51v/X50v. Shouldn't there be more then just this..... a getting started CD must come with this too?

the CD should have a Outlook, activesync, and some demo software.

yeah you need to call dell and get them to send you the cd with activesync and outlook on it.

Toy Golf is by far the most important thing on that CD.

I just called them again. They are sending me all CD's they have..... 3 in all I think.

Wow, thats amazing. I should try to get them to send me too. But tell us the 3 different CDs first so I know if I actually need them.

This is hilarious... because the exact same thing happened to me. On 12/22/05 I used online chat support to get them to send me the Getting Started CD (which was not shipped). About a week later, I received a package from Dell--the 3D game pack (Enigmo & Stuntcar Extreme). Dumbfounded, I called to get the correct CD (they told me I could keep the CD). 2 weeks later nothing. I tried online chat service again and finally received my Getting Started CD. :rolling: Me thinks they goofed times two. I must have gotten the same service guy.

I got my CD's today. Only two...
1 is the getting started CD and 2 is another copy of the games I already got.... Stuntcar Extreme and Enigmo.... the latter is quite addictive! Guess I will have to sell the extra on eBay!
