only paired with GPS ??? how does that make for improved ??

I'm confused !

in regard to BT profiles ... isn't GPS the least problematic ???

not trying to be wise guy ... just not really sure when people are happy about a person's announcing that he coupld paired GPS successfully

or could it be the fact that he successfully got a driver to be SIGNED ???

I'd love to try!

I've got a headset....
and a laptop with a BT dongle (if I can find it)
and a V710 (DUN and Handsfree)

Kazkin, I agree gps seems to be the best part of BT in the MSFT stack. (laughs quietley) But if he got GPS working using the Widcomm stack, thats one "giant leap" towards getting widcomm fully working.

Big Smile Congratualtions!

mikelspikel : congrats to you my friend - if you send me the gear and the instructions (dont have to be "n00b" level) I'll have a test for you - my Axim is ready for rebuilding so hard reset is no problem for me should it come to that...

I've got me a BT dongle for my pc as well as numerous BT phones, I've not got a BT headset though...

Once again - WELL DONE MATEY - who's the Daddy?

Widcomm for Axim x51v version 0.00000001

In this zip file you have everything you need to test if it works for you. Please, don't install it unless you don't mind to hard reset! Maybe something breaks.

I've included the small tool I posted yesterday to load the stack after booting (discussed problem with unsigned dlls). For the moment it shows an annoying message telling the user if the drivers have been properly loaded or not. This won't be necessary as soon as we have signed dlls (beemer, you are working on this, aren't you?)

Let me know if it works!

Yeah! Congratulations Mikelspikel

I've signed all the files on 1.6.600 and now all loads Ok, but still no power on (althought the led flashes).
I can check all the profiles but A2DP.

Could you post the registry that you have used?

Hi beemer. The registry file has been made based on yours. You have it in the link from my previous post. Anyway, I couldn't manage to make it work with version 1.6
