I cant wait to see if it works!!!
Oh and just to let everyone know, if you want the ability to send files through bluetooth (OBEX outward only) Resco Explorer 2005 has it, I just found it. But being able to take and recieve files is still needed! I hope this works well!

I've been very busy writing some roundups (see my blog) and other reviews (and writing some banking & DBA stuff IRL). Will try to devote my weekend to the Widcom hack.

I had a stab at this last night in a spare 30 minutes... I've got it so the stack is installed (but not in the correct locations), but the "Radio cant turn on.. blah... blah blah..." message is coming up. I'm going to give this some more time tonight (weekend is out as I'm working :( ) and see what the next step is...

any help would be great!!

Much love to those of you patient enough to try this. Why can't Widcomm make a patch for Axims and then charge users that wish to have the BT stack to have it? Granted, I'd be smoked at Dell if I had to pay MORE money just to get it to work the way they advertised, but then again, these things don't go for pocket change either. I'd much rather have a working product even if it meant spending an extra fifty dollars

You hear that Dell? You could probably screw me out of an extra $50. Why not? You've screwed me for 3 months by having a product that doesn't work right. I'd much rather pay the company that makes the Widcomm BT stack though, I'm not pissed at them.

As soon as I have some time, I'll try to hack it. (Bought a HTC Wizard a week ago and I've been playing with it the entire time. in addition to writing a lot of new articles.)
