Well, I just did a hard reset and reinstalled the patch. I still get the "insufficient memory" error. I have an x51V with the A06 english ROM. Any suggestions?
what program are you using to install the registry files?
Resco Registry. PHM registry editor is great too!

I finally got a chance to try this after watching all the updates. THanks!!! Seems like bluetooth is working on my x51v. Two problems I have is no wireless LAN and I cannot create a DUN with my samsung D357. I know all the settings except it errors out all the time. Anyone who has created a successfull connection with cingular want to help? I also recieved the dreaded "insufficient memery" after trying to use the wireless LAN then bluetooth. Any suggestions for either would be helpful!! Thanks for the great work.
After the upgrade I boot up and get the error- "The file 'BTTrayCE' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file." I tried importing the registry using Resco file\registry explorer, and Total Commander CE. Any more suggestions?

Dear utmatt20,
I encountered the same problems as you mentioned above. Mine were due to the fact that I tried the install the 0.36 version directly. I solved this by installing http://thcgirls.com/BroadcommX51V02.zip first and afterwards copied the files of the 0.36 version back to \windows and then I ran the platform17134.reg again. I think the 0.36 version is missing some dll's or other necessary files. Ow I almost forgot.. I also copied BTTrayCE.exe.0409.mui, which can be found in the 03 and 031 versions, to \windows (don't know if this makes any difference). This solved my problems, I hope yours too.
Thanks beecher. There are something strange in these files: both are device drivers and neither are signed
Mikelspikel: Could you try to load with your driver loader? I can't sign them: both gives an error when I try it.
I've tried Serial_BTUR.dll in BTUart driver and I get System Error 0x2 (The system cannot find the file specified). There is something very strange about this. I get the same error with the following dlls:
BTUartDMA.dll from x50v WM2003 (Menneisyys).
Serial_BTUR.dll from hx4700 WM2003 (my dump).
Serial_BTUR.dll from hx4700 WM5 (beecher).
The driver loads successfully when setting Serial32.dll as Dll and BT seems to work OK (just like with original BTUartDMA).
In the beginning I thought it was a problem of corrupted dlls but it's quite strange the three are wrong. I agree with you there should be something wrong with the one beecher has got as it has lost its signature. Maybe we can't extract this file properly? Or maybe it has to be in ROM to work?

Im using resco to and have no problems, make sure u are using the full power off instead of the reset buttom that was my problem.
This maybe off subject... Anyone know how I can enable bluetooth thru a hardware button or a shortcut on the desktop? useing .35/.36 drivers? I'm thinking btswitch.exe would need to updated for the new exe's...
I've been following the threads...don't know alot about bluetooth and I suppose my headset won't work until Audio works, but I wanted to try this just for (___s) and giggles. Anyway, I went through the whole .35 install followed by the .36 install and I, too, get the insufficient memory error.
- I didn't run the .35 registry update after I installed .36. Only after I installed .35.
- I used Resco for the registry updates. Some people have said it worked for them, so I don't consider that an issue.
- I have used full power off with the power button for restarts.
One thing that was puzzling. In .35 there were (2) platform registry updates, one labeled "new". Should I not have run that one? I ran both of them. There were no instructions associated with it. One thing I noticed about it was it turned my audio off and I had to reset that registry key afterwards. The other platform registry update didn't.
I'm not all hot for this since I just wanted to use a headset with Skype and I understand I can't even if this works, but any help would be appreciated.
