Great news:
Version 0.5 is uploaded to the Nokistein site. Please, Nakedracer, do a mirror in your site. I tried but it gave me an error.
In the file you can find two cabs:
-Aximsite_WirelessPower.cab that is only the final version for the Button manager. It includes a program that allows full configuration of the behaviour.
-Broadcom Bluetooth StackX51V05.cab Is the main instalation file. It includes the Button program also.
For the people that has 0.38 installed we recomend to install only the button program, because there are minor changes on the functionality.
For new instalations, where MS stack is actually running, the new file is capable of doing a full install... and a full uninstall!!!!!!!
This is important: the file is only capable of doing a full uninstall if installed while MS stack is running.
Installation and uninstalation ends with a question about to do a soft reset: please answer yes. Uninstalation is slow, it may last until five minutes. Be patient.
Althought I cannot imagine any reason for uninstall it!!
I did the set security and tranfered the Broadcom Bluetooth Stack to my documents on my Axim and and when I try to run the setup it opens a HTML document by the name file://\My%20Documents\Broadcom%20Bluetooth%20StackX51V05 \ setup.xml and nothing else happens. What am I doing wrong????

:rolling: I don't know. After transferring the file has it still the correct extension? Anyone has any idea about this?
How about a big red X or a blur over the icon indicating it's either On or Off? My x51 is only Bluetooth.
Check out my four frame animation of how I think the tap selection should work: using Photoshops "Motion Blur filter"
Frame 1: All On
Frame 2: Wi-Fi on, BT Off
Frame 3: Wi-Fi off, BT On
Frame 4: All off
Glennosmond,
Have a look to the new WirelessPower app. It includes several (if not all) your suggestions: Now the status of the radios can be switched tapping on the icons, there's a configuration tool (WirelessPower Config) where you can select if both BT and WiFi should be controlled by the app or only one of them (only BT in your case). The desired state of the radios can change the icons of the app, the colors of the indicators can be changed, and they can be hidden if desired... Well quite a lot of configurable parameters, which allow the users to run the app as desired. Hope you find it useful.

Woah can't thank you enough. Your giving everyone exactly what they want with that config tool. And it all looks so professional. Two finger taps or stylus taps and I'm done. For some reason it seems even quicker then using flight mode, like I used to. Thanks!
I can't think of anything to make it better. Like how great is a config tool that even allows you to change the colors, etc? Okay, just one thing, but I begged too much already. If possible move the config tool to the settings folders instead of the program start menu.
i isntalled the WK power button alone, since I already had v0.38, and configured it to run in direct mode, which suits me fine.
Thanks for the good work.

Wow this is wonderful, I am new to bluetooth my first device was a Verizon cell phone that is crippled I enabled as much of that as possible thanks to Howardforums and now you guys with my Axim
Now I just have one question is it possible to use my bluetooth GPS receiver and my HS850 mono head set at the same time? I would love getting my directions through the headset from TomTom

When I first set up the HS850 headset I didn't see the hands-free headset profile so I will have to go back and add that one later but so far working is
2 questions-
is there a way to get rid of the old MS BT icon on my today screen?
My Dell navigation software with BT GPS reciever freezes (not frozen just real slow) since the upgrade to Ver 0.38. could this be a conflict?

1-Simply delete it (BTTay.lnk) from \windows\start and do a soft reset. But it could come back whenever you do a restore from a backup program. It is in rom and there is no way to avoid this behaviour.
2-Try a GPS test program and see id you receive NEMEA messages every second. If yes, the problem is a CPS saturation.
I've developed two bots that sove this problem in TomTom and iGO navigator programs, but for others I'm developing a general porpouse navigator-independent POI(radar) warner that also can start manually or automatically any navigation software avoithing the problem you have.
The program actually is much more advanced than the one of the image I've attached, but it can give you an idea about what I'm telling about.
