Just to say that I tried btw since I uograded to A12 and all was fine. The speed change corrected the disconnect problems I noticed with my stereo headset.

Apologies if this is a dumb question. I've been trawling this thread and others for a while. I may have missed the tree in the woods.

How do I get a Jabra 620s working with a X50v?

If you are using 2003se on your x50v, you don't need the fix in this thread, up simply an update to your existing stack. There is a link to one of those updates in MyPDA. There is also another HP 1.6 update that some people like better.

If you have an WM5 upgraded x50v then you will need to install this stack. This will give you a Bluetooth manager. From that screen you will be able to pair with your computer and your headset or headphones. Hope this helps.

I got the exact same unit (well x51v though)

I installed the new stack on my newly Updated A12 system.

Create a pair with the jabra enter passkey 0000.
Afther that i went into services and setup a Audio service with the jabra that was it.

I noticed some skipping at around 30 min of playback, so i turn down the BT speed and that fixed it.

Ug. It didn't work. I wasn't sure what state I had got my device into so I even did a hard reset and then just installed that .cab file.

I get connect failed on my ax when I try to connect to the High Quality Audio on the Jabra.

It says in the details section that it is waiting for device but it does not seem to wait at all before failing.

read several threads bout pairing headphones. I've found that many of them are finicky to pair. keep trying. Make sure you see the indicators that it is in pairing mode. They may also need a pairing key if you don't use the dongle. 0000 -- or perhaps 1234 -- works for most. Good Luck.

Thanks again DC. I will have a nose around. I don't know if it is a factor, or even if I am correct but I believe the headphones are paired but just won't connect.

Anyway, thanks again, and I will peruse further.

I've got things generally working now. Do you connect to a phone at the same time as your Ax?

First of all, Thank you all specially Beemer & MikelSpikel . I inastalled the widcomm stack and it works with Bluetooth handset stereo from ROCO. Though I have slight problem. when I wanted to swich on Think outside mouse I could not becuase of the handset is connected. When I swithced it off and dissconnected I can use the bluetooth mouse. Also when I tried using the bluetooth mouse with the Dell Bluetooth keyborard I had a problem connecting both. I had hard time pairing the keyboard using the secure connection.

After several trial I could connect both of them (unsecured keyboard connection). If I leave the keyboard for a while it disconnect.

Of course that was not the case before installing the widcomm. It was easy to pair the keyboard. Am I missing something here?

I can see there is a problem when trying to make both the keyboard and the mouse work togther. Has anyone faced such in convience and what should I do to pair the two wihtout problem.

There is skipping though. but in overall it is very good.

What bother me is connecting the handset and the mouse. and why I can not pair the mouse while the handset is connected?

I am using X51v with A03 R12

I have never been able to use have two connections using a headset or headphone connection. this was true of widcomm of 2003se and this stack.

I am using both the stowawy mouse and dell keyboard. I am using the latest stowaway drivers DL from their site. I installed .50 first and then installed the stowaway drivers. they give the message that the native HID profile must be deactivated. Let that happen and then you have to pair the mouse and the keyboard. I think I did the keyboard first and had to try several times, but then it worked. They are both secure connections and they both reconnect fine. The keyboard takes much longer to establish the connection than the mouse.

Have you tried the speed skipping app. It works for me. NO skipping once the connection is established and my microdrive gets up to speed. Good Luck.

Thank you DeeCee52. I managed to use them now but still I could not pair the keyboard using secure connection. I am using Dell keyboard drivers. Intially I installed the Thinkoutside mouse driver that comes in the CD but the driver did not work. luckily it worked when then I removed the mouse driver and installed the Dell Axim keyboard driver (4.3.1) 1.2.

The mouse driver I used is the one that the Dell CD installed beside the keyboard driver and it was ok. It is working now but no secure connection for both even as I recall from the mouse manul it did not ask for secure connection but the keyboard yes.

I will try searching for the driver later time and see what will happen. Right now I am happy with the system thanks alot for everyone. The reason I bought the Axim is you the forum and how professional you are.

One feel proud sharing the same forum with people like you.

I did not apply the speed hack. It is OK and as I understand the speed hack does eliminate the hanging but not the skipping.

the skipping will be there I assume for some people or will be for longer intervals.

Cio Now I should be sleeping now. :rolling:

You are the best .

I tried the new driver for the ThinkOutside(4.5) but still I can not pair them using the secure connection.
The Mouse does not show that option but the keyboard does.
Moreover, if I try to use the bluetooth manager to pair with keyboard the system freeze

also when the system shuts down for a moment I have to reconnect again.

DANGER: TomTom Navigator 6 disables Widcomm on X51

I've tested TTN6 in my Widcomm enabled X51v with the result of no audio and no BT.

The problem seems to be that TTN6 detects that it is an X51 and install BT registry entries for Microsoft stack.

I've no solution by the moment, but I'm working on it.
