How to get OZVGA to work with WM5?

I'm wanting to give ozvga a try on WM5 and I was going to go ahead as it suggests on these forums; altering dll store location, extracting vgares dll's to this dll storeage location except for msim.96.dll which I think is meant to go to /windows.

Then basically putting the .exe somewhere and giving it a go, but I've read of someone saying not to use those dll's in the vgares archive and instead follow this approach:

1) Run SDKCert.cab (not sure if the name is correct) to install dev certificated needed for wm5 to load the dll's
2) install OzVGA (without the dll's!!)
3) Extact the dll zip for wm5 (not found on OzVGA website)
4) make a backup to be sure...
5) run OzVGA

So basically I'm now feeling totally confusued especially since I've never heard of SDKCert.cab before that post and I don't really want to start messing about whether there's the option of a hard reset or not until I know what I'm doing.

If anyone knows the exact way of installing/configuring this on X51v WM5 then I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks

I just downloaded the WM2003SE version. Soft resetted, the white screen of death appeared and then it was fine

Those threads are what you need. It's funny, though, how many times a user can answer the same question tens of times. Search, search, search.
