X51V - Specifications

Hi All,

About to pull the trigger on order the X51V, my Toshiba E755 has finally bit the dust... Been hearing a lot of good things about this unit ant @ $324.00 It's just way WAY too sweet to pass up!

Question though regarding SPECS: Been reading that unit is suppose to come with 128 ROM, but according to DELL's website it's listed as 256ROM, is this a TYPO or does the X51V now come with 256mb ROM?

Memory
RAM: 64MB SDRAM

ROM: 256MB Flash memory

Yes, coming from the Toshiba I do understand that only 64 or rather 49.4mb is usable for running APPS, but the ROM is supposedly usable for storage purposes and will prevent apps from using the precious ram when stored.

no, its not a typo. the x51v has the 256. the x50v has the 128.
