Why is My X51v in transit so long?

Dell's tracking website says my order is In Transit (status:in tansit to local carrier)
It has been saying that since friday morning.
Its due to be delivered tomorrow Wedensday.
Could this be for real?
Why is still in transit so long?
I have tried clearing my cache and using other computers to trace so as to avoid looking at an old page but it still says
In Transit.
I don't even get a tracking number from DHL and my package is to be delivered tomorrow. Can this be for real?

Mine has been in transit since last Thursday. I think there is a problem. My order was supposed to arrive yesterday but it's still showing in transit in u.s.

Status In Transit in U.S.
Date/Time JANUARY 26, 2006 AT 16:30
Depot U.S.A. GROUND LINEHAUL

I don't think it will arrive for the next two, three days at this rate.

Don't feel so bad. It was like that for me too. I just recieved mine and it still says In Transit.

Dell shipping is completely FUBAR. I am overseas and I had to have it shipped to an APO address. I had to wait 2 months to recieve my Axim. They had to send me two because they lost track of the first one. Now they told me that I have to ship the second one back or I will have to pay for it. What second one??? I only recieved one Axim, the ONE that I paid for. It is not my fault that they messed up my shipping.

When you guys talk about delivery status, you are talking about the carrier's tracking information right, not what's on Dell's web site?

On Dell.ca there is no information about the package, I have to go to Purolator to track it, this is where I see In Transit.

Purolator is usually correct in their transit into (it should go to Toronto first via Ground and then airred to your town and spread around)

Bwahahahah!!!
Ahem. Sorry....
Purolator's web site is pathetic on a good day, at least here in Canada.

I shipped my Inspiron 4000 to Dell for repair.
As I was checking the web site, Purolator showed it weather-delayed en route to Toronto (i.e. hadn't even arrived at the repair depot) when it landed on my desk, repaired.

The worst is USPS. You dont get any update until you get your package! Thats why its so cheap.

Dell don't update their shipping information to regularly. I had a replacement computer arrive on my doorstep yesterday and it stated on the dell web-site still in transit!

Finally Purolator's web site is not showing in transit anymore. It's right here in Montreal Sort Center. I should be getting it tomorrow. It took a while but hey nothing was wrong after all.
