Firrst things to do on my x51x. Any sugestions for a n00b?

Greetings

For a long time I've been wanting to get a handheld device of some sort.
After a while, I realised I needed a Pocket PC.
Here's what I want it to do in my little dream world.

-It's an IPod (music)
-It's a NintendoDS (stylus interface)
-It's a PSP (movies- notice I didnt say games ;) except better because of Divx suppport.
-It's an Emulator (Snes, etc)
-Plus internet access. word processing, calculator, OS custimazaition,

I'm sold on thr Axim x51v, and after reading around this site, you've helped me make my choice. I'd say %30 of my decision has been based on the great community of helpful users with tons of hacks and tricks. It makes me less hesitant about wanting to do what I want with it, and the initial purchase.

Here's my initial checklist of what I think I need to do when I get it. If I'm missing anything, please let me know.

1 - Hard Reset, then initial charge wile using.it.
2 - Update to A06, which I assume is a firmware version and an Activesync software update. From website M$ I assume?

Do the fake server-Activesync trick
4 - Install a program that will show battery and memory use. And, be able to make [X] actually close stuff. I've glanced at ICBar, will it do all that?
5 - Totaly customise interface. - Up to sugestions for this. How is McDeb Thememaker?
6 - I'm not sure if Player 10 will do Divx, so I'll find a clean looking media player. - Try episode of Arrested Development off of a CF card.
7 - Play MP3 of 2001 theme
7 - Install Opera for PPC.- try website
8 - Install PocketSnes.- try Zelda
9 - Um... post here about how everything works (*knock on wood*)

Software sugestions and any other tips are also appreciated.

I'm hoping to place an order for one next week. I'll be lurking around till then getting my hopes up

2. Regarding A06 its a ROM update and has little to do with ActiveSync. Just download ActiveSync 4.1 from Microsofts website.(Do a search on Google for it). A06 can be downloaded from the Dell Website. Heres a link to the US version.

4. Be wary of battery plugins, they drain the battery like theres no tommorrow. Get feedback on this.

5. Customize Interface. Look at Wisbar Advance 2(the newer versions run on WM5 and look really good with the 'Expea2' theme(free). WA2 isnt though.

6. Get TCPMP, its a kickass free Media Player(Plays every conceivable audio and video codec known to man) Heres a link:

Advice: Download latest version of ActiveSync and install it first. Then charge your Axim for the required hours(play with it if you choose to).

Then download A06 and install it.

Then feel free to install whatever apps you wish to install.

Apps to Look at:
1. Magic Button(Free app that closes your apps properly)
2. Skype(Everyones favourite VoIP freeware program)

Forget the built-in WMP, go for TCPMP instead.
