X50v turning on by itself in cradle

Hi guys,
I did a brief search and couldn't find any information on it. Basically I am running a X50v that I recently put back to 2003 because I was not pleased with wm5. Now when I have it charging the cradle it randomly turns on by itself.
Does anyone have a solution to this? Is it an ActiveSync issue?
Thanks!

don't know about the axim, but the palm tx had this problem when there was alarms set for december of last year. might be a clue to check if you have any pending alarms.

After I upgrade to WM5 on my 50v along with the ROM upgrade from Dell, I also started having the same problem. I tried the fix described above and it didn't work. Any more ideas?

I upgraded to WM5 and got that problem but after downgrading it doesn`t happen as its only a WM5 related issue. Having said that die to other problems I incurred I have upgraded to WM5 to downgrade to get a fresh install of W2k3SE because the axim bricked itself (I don`t think I did it, it just wouldn`t start even after charging and changing batterys) and this solved all issues... don`t know if you`d want to try that though?
