X50v password screen lockup

I have my 50v running WM2005, and everything was fine, I used the password protected mode, so if it idles, you will need to enter the 4 digit code to get back to unlock it..

problem is, I installed OzVGA, and now its stuck at the password prompt.. as soon as i press anything, the button stays highlighted and the pda locks up.. the date doesnt change etc etc.. just locks up..

I did a soft reset (button in the back) and removed the battery.. both come back to the password prompt and whamo.. locks up again.

i cant use it..how can I start from scratch???

thanks

dave

If "from scratch" means factory default, i.e. as new, then you can do a hard reset.

Hold down the power button and press the reset button for at least 2 sec. A screen will pop up asking U to confirm by pressing the Contacts button.
