Got my Activesync 4.1 / WM5 to work

Had trouble connecting, re-installed AS4.1 and the first time, it was OK. Second time, stopped connecting again. On disabling Zone Alarm on my desktop, it re-synced!

Axim X50, WM5, AS 4.1
Zone Alarm should be re-started ASAP once sync-up is complete.

or you could do it properly and configured your firewall to recognized ActiveSync as a trusted access & let it through ;)
