Exclamation Axim x50v hanging while restarting

Hi folks,

I have a problem with my X50v. Yesterday I put my PDA into my cradle to sync but activesync told me the connection was los. I removed the pda and tried again. The same. I saw that my pda wasn't responding anymore. I tried to restart it with a cold start. Then the pda loads until 90% (of the loading bar) and then stops. I even tried a hard reset, changed the battery, removed the sd card. Nothing helped. I had the same problem with my last x50v (dell exchanged it). What can I do? I got the new one last week

Can any application be responsible for that? I use pocketbreeze, ilauncher and pocket plus.

I hope anyone can help me.

Thanks,

Simon

Hi,

I solved my own problem. I reflashed my pda with a new WM5 ROM via SD Card.

Look at this thread:

Greetings,

Happened to me too, twice. But I found that if you put it in the cradle, disconnect the usb. Then power it on and hard reset. It'll get to the 90% and stop. But just leave it for 30 mins or so and eventually it'll come back. It somehow has to do with compaction or filesys. But just need to be patient.
