X50v Seagate st1 resolution yet?

so, i got a dell pocket dj with a 5gb seagate st1, the units screen is cracked so i wanted to use the drive in my x50v, i was wondering if it had been resolved? did anyone ever find a way to make it work? its the 3.04 fw version

Open your DJ up and see if the drive has firmware, if it does the drive should say "FW: 3.04" or something like that on the back. If there is no "FW" number you can use it in your Axim.
