No AM radio?

My new x51v is going to replace my diskman/radio. It will do fine as a diskman but the radio part is tough. There is a review of an FM radio but no AM. Some of the new mp3 players on the market have FM but nothing has AM. I guess they don't think that we like sports or the news.

Anyway, does anyone know of an AM/FM tuner?

AM radio is a much lower frequency and requires a longer antenna. They usually put coil antennae in AM radios and I think they're just too big for modern gadgets. To date, I've never seen an AM tuner in any MP3 player or similar 21st century device.

I have searched all over the 'net without any success.

iBIZ pocket RADIO does not work on WM5/X51v. And apparently neither does the Ambicom version.

I've been searching for an mp3 player with AM also, there is one but its too large (forget the name). Anyway, you can stream AM radio on the X51v, so as long as you're connected, you got it. Otherwise, download the podcasts which most AM stations now make available for no charge.

Cheers!
