Checking screen resolution

I have some programs that run off the side of my screen, or some of the settings dialogs run off of the screen. Is there a reason for this? How can I check if my X50v actually has it's vga screen? I bought this off ebay, though I'm pretty sure the guy is honest. I just can't figure out what's going on with some of this stuff that is supposedly vga compatible software.

It's second-hand, meaning if someone was unscrupulous or not knowledgeable, a broken screen could have been replaced with a QVGA screen. I imagine this would cause a lot of problem, but I'm no hardware engineer.

What do you mean by "SR it"? I updated the ROM (rolled it back from WM5 to WM2003 A05).

If you don't know what a QVGA vs a VGA screen looks like, go to a local Circuit City store and compare. You will easily spot the difference.

Ehhh.

Start > Settings > System > System Information

If that doesn't convince you, find an application that allows you to make screenshots (Resco Photoviewer has this possibility, and it's bundled with the Axim's Software CD).

After you took the screenshot, copy it to your PC and view it on your PC .

Seems to have been buggy software. It's gone now.
